Water Measurement ‘Blue Tick’ accreditation status is partly dependent on the following criteria being achieved by service providers.
INSTALLATION WORKBOOK
For all Accredited Installation Service Providers, the installation must be supervised or signed off by a person that holds the Unit Standard for installation NZQA 27445 – Select, oversee installation, and commission a full pipe water measurement system
VERIFICATION WORKBOOK
For all Accredited Verification Service Providers, the verification must be undertaken by a person that holds the Unit Standard for verification NZQA 27556 – Carry out a full pipe water measurement system verification
WORKBOOK ENROLLMENT PROCESS
You can enrol at any time to complete a workbook. You do, however, need access to an already suitably qualified person to sign off the practical component of the workbook. If you do not have ready access to a suitably qualified person, please contact us to discuss options available to you.
The fee for each workbook is $795+GST. Material will be sent out on receipt of payment.
To receive a workbook email accreditation@irrigationnz.co.nz or call 04 595 6848 and provide the following details:
- The workbook you require - installation or verification
- Name and contact details of the enrolled staff
- Copy of photo ID (passport or drivers’ licence – front and back)
All applicants have exactly three months to complete each workbook. Extensions are only given in extenuating circumstances and must be received via email a minimum of one week before the due date. All workbooks which have missed their due date will be expired. Sitting a workbook again requires a new application to be submitted along with full payment made. No refunds will be granted for expired applications.
Workbooks will be marked within 2 weeks and feedback, if necessary, will be sent back to the applicant to resubmit on.
