Irrigation New Zealand

Irrigation in New Zealand is subject to meeting many requirements to ensure it is operating efficiently, and effectively and meeting the obligations of both national and regional regulations.

These include but are not limited to, the take and use of water, land use controls or nutrient discharge limits, building constraints, and health and safety requirements.

IrrigationNZ's Legislation, Regulation, and Sustainability resource book provides further information on this.
