Keri joined the IrrigationNZ board in October 2015. The working engineer, principal of Irricon Resource Solutions, farmer and mother of two is used to juggling various roles. Keri felt it was time for her to contribute more publicly to the debate around how we best manage our water resources. Her future ambitions include working more closely with policy makers to influence the detail of regulation and planning frameworks before they are decided.

Jared Ross

Director

Jared, with his wife Susan, own and operate an irrigated beef finishing property near Kurow, in the Waitaki Valley . He is a director for the Kurow Duntroon Irrigation Company, the current chairman for North Otago Federated Farmers and a community member on the Lower Waitaki South Coastal Canterbury Zone committee. Jared holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Commerce from Lincoln University.

Emma Crutchley

Director

Emma is farmer from the Maniototo in Central Otago. Her and husband Kyle and family, run a sheep and beef breeding/ finishing and arable property with mixture of hill country and flat including 475 hectares of irrigation. They have two primary school aged children. Emma has nearly 20 years’ experience working either as a farmer or rural professional in the primary sector.

Mark Pizey

DIRECTOR

Mark was previously the Chief Executive Officer of Central Plains Water Ltd, a role he has held for the past five years. Prior to this appointment Mark held the role of Chief Inspector for the Extractives Sector and the General Manager High Hazards Unit for WorkSafe NZ.

Andrew Mockford

Andrew joined the IrrigationNZ Board in November 2023. He is no stranger to the irrigation sector he presently works for Rangitata Diversion Race Management Ltd (RDRML) as Operations Manager. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Opuha Water Ltd (five years) and had come from a role as the Southern Regional Production Lead with Trustpower, managing their Otago and Canterbury Hydro Assets (three years).

Mark Saunders

Mark joined the IrrigationNZ Board in November 2023. Him and his wife Pennie have been farming in Ashburton, Mid-Canterbury since 2004
