The Water Allocation Calculator is an update to the IRRICALC water allocation tool that makes it freely accessible (web-based) and expands its coverage throughout New Zealand.
Waikato and Otago Regional Councils have paid for additional work above and beyond the online version of this calculator. Therefore their in house IRRICALC may give a different allocation at this time.
Aqualinc have confirmed to INZ that they will update this online calculator as soon as they can. Until then, please use this tool with caution for these two regions.
Please note: not all Councils subscribe to IRRICALC, if they use a different model then use this tool as a guide only.
