•Irrigation Enhancing the Environment - projects and research that have led to environmental improvements

•Resilient Communities - projects and research that have led to improved community outcomes

2022 RON COCKS AWARD

The Ron Cocks Award recognises a person who has made a significant contribution to irrigation in New Zealand.

J.R. (Ron) Cocks was a Mid Canterbury farmer, a pioneer, visionary, and a leader in farming affairs. His greatest legacy to New Zealand was his leadership in water issues. The Memorial Award acknowledges that legacy and encourages others to follow his leadership.

Do you know someone who has done a lot of work for the irrigation sector, whether that be through, policy, environmental, compliance, community, or the list goes on, it doesn’t matter in what shape or form, yet is a great opportunity to recognise it, whatever that may be!
