The Irrigation NZ “Blue Tick” accreditation programme for water measurement requires Service Providers to have a good appreciation of the capabilities and work involved in the installation and verification of their products. “Blue tick” status is partly dependent on the following criteria being achieved by service providers.
Installation - (Offered Now)
For all Accredited Installation Service Providers , the installation must be supervised onsite by –
Full-pipe - a person that holds the NZQA unit standard - Select, install, and commission a water meter for full pipe water abstraction
Note: All accredited service providers must agree to undertake the training retrospectively - within 12 months of it being available (July 2011).

Verification - (Offered early December 2011)
For all Accredited Verification Service Provider, the verification must be undertaken by –
