Water Measurement

The Water Measurement 'Blue Tick' Industry Accreditation Programme has been championed by Irrigation NZ to give permit holders certainty that service providers will deliver services that comply with the Resource Management (Measurement and Reporting of Water Takes) Regulations 2010.

To ensure integrity the program is overseen by an independent Water Measurement Panel

The program consists of -

Industry Guidelines for the Measurement and Reporting of Water Takes - Comprehensive guide to the decision process and considerations for successful full pipe (water meter) and open channel installation, verification and data reporting.
User Guide for Permit Holders Quick guide to help you through the decison process for successful full pipe (water meter) and open channel installations.
Installation and verification training courses for 'Blue Tick' accredited service providers. These practical workplace based training courses are now available.
'Blue Tick' Accreditation Programme - Criteria, processes and an application form for providers of water measurement installation, verification, data hosting and open channel services.
Register of 'Blue Tick' Accredited Service Providers - Find out who is accredited in your area.
Register of Certified Full Pipe (Water Meter) Installers and Verifiers - Find out who has completed the training. This register will be available late 2011.
Make a Compliant about a 'Blue Tick' Accredited Service Providers Performance - For use by both permit holders and regulators.
