Ian Mackenzie Board
Ian Mackenzie was elected to the INZ board in October 2007. He farms a 425ha fully irrigated arable property in Mid Canterbury. He is chairman of the Ashburton Community Water Trust (ACWT) and Eiffelton Irrigation Scheme.
A former Federated Farmers provincial president Ian retains a keen interest in Federated Farmers and general agriculture related policy and issues. His position with ACWT demonstrates his specific interest in water storage, promoting sustainable economic and environmental growth from innovative water use for wider community benefit from irrigated agriculture.
